Leviticus 23:14-16

¹⁴ And ye shall eat neither bread nor parched grain nor green ears until this same day until ye have offered the offering of your God; it shall be a statute for ever throughout your ages in all your dwellings.

¹⁵ ¶ And ye shall count unto you from the day after the sabbath, from the day that ye offered the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete;

¹⁶ unto the day after the seventh sabbath, ye shall number fifty days; then ye shall offer a new present unto the LORD.
