³⁰ It^(A) will be like that on the day the Son of Man is revealed.^(B)

¹⁹ For the creation eagerly waits with anticipation^(A) for God’s sons^(B) to be revealed.

²⁰ Our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly wait for a Saviour from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁸ so also Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many,^(A) will appear a second time,^(B) not to bear sin, but^[a] to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.^(C)

¹² as you wait for the day of God and hasten its coming.^[a](A) Because of that day, the heavens will be dissolved with fire and the elements will melt with heat.
