Luke 20:8-10

⁸ Then Jesus said to them, “Nor shall I tell you by what authority I do these things.”

⁹ Then He began to speak this parable to the people, “A certain man planted a vineyard, hired farmers, and went into a strange country for a long time.

¹⁰ “And at the proper time, he sent a servant to the farmers to have them give him of the fruit of the vineyard. But the farmers beat him and sent him away empty.
