²⁰ In the same way he also took the cup after supper and said, ‘This cup is the new covenant^(A) in my blood,^(B) which is poured out for you.^[a]

⁶ He has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant,^(A) not of the letter,^(B) but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
