⁴⁵ Then He ^(A)opened their ^[a]minds to understand the Scriptures, ⁴⁶ and He said to them, “^(B)So it is written, that the ^[b]Christ would suffer and ^(C)rise from the dead on the third day, ⁴⁷ and that ^(D)repentance ^[c]for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed ^[d]in His name to ^(E)all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
