Jesus Pronounces Woes

^24 (A)“But woe to you who are rich, ^(B)for you ^(C)have received your consolation.

²⁵ “Woe to you who are full now, for ^(D)you shall be hungry.

“Woe to ^(E)you who laugh now, ^(F)for you shall mourn and weep.

²⁶ “Woe to you, ^(G)when all people speak well of you, for ^(H)so their fathers did to ^(I)the false prophets.
