¹⁵ The dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother.^{(A) 16} Then fear^[a] came over everyone,^(B) and they glorified God,^(C) saying, ‘A great prophet has risen among us,’^(D) and ‘God has visited^[b] his people.’^{(E) 17} This report about him went throughout Judea and all the vicinity.
