⁴¹ He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down^(A) and prayed,

⁶⁰ Then he fell on his knees^(A) and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.”^(B) When he had said this, he fell asleep.^(C)
