¹⁶ As^(A) he passed alongside the Sea of Galilee,^(B) he saw Simon^(C) and Andrew,^(D) Simon’s brother, casting a net into the sea^(E)—for they were fishermen. ¹⁷ “Follow me,”^(F) Jesus told them, “and I will make you fish for^[a](G) people.”^{(H) 18} Immediately they left their nets and followed^(I) him.^(J)
