⁴⁷ When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth,^(A) he began to cry out, ‘Jesus, Son of David,^(B) have mercy^(C) on me! ’^(D)

⁶ ‘Don’t be alarmed,’ he told them. ‘You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth,^(A) who was crucified. He has risen!^(B) He is not here. See the place where they put him.

³⁴ ‘Leave us alone! What do you have to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are – the Holy One of God! ’^(A)

So they said to him, ‘The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth,^(A) who was a prophet^(B) powerful in action and speech^(C) before God and all the people,^(D)
