2 In order to accuse(A) Him, they were watching Him closely(B) to see whether He would heal(C) him on the Sabbath.(D) 3 He told the man with the paralyzed hand, “Stand before us.”[a] 4 Then He said to them, “Is it lawful(E) on the Sabbath to do what is good(F) or to do what is evil,(G) to save life(H) or to kill?”(I) But they were silent.(J)

2 Some of them were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely(A) to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath.(B) 3 Jesus said to the man with the shriveled hand, “Stand up in front of everyone.”
4 Then Jesus asked them, “Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they remained silent.
