²⁴ And he said to them, ‘Pay attention to what you hear. By the measure^(A) you use,^(B) it will be measured to you – and more will be added^(C) to you.

³⁸ Give, and it will be given to you; a good measure – pressed down, shaken together, and running over – will be poured into your lap.^(A) For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.’^(B)

God’s Righteous Judgement

2 Therefore, every one of you^[a](A) who judges is without excuse.^(B) For when you judge another,^(C) you condemn yourself, since you, the judge, do the same things.

¹⁰ But you, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or you, why do you despise your brother or sister? For we will all stand before the judgement seat of God.^[a](A)

¹³ For judgement is without mercy to the one who has not shown mercy.^(A) Mercy triumphs over judgement.
