Mark 5:8-10

^7-8 Jesus said to the man, “You evil spirit, come out of that man.”

But the man shouted in a loud voice, “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, promise God that you will not punish me!”

⁹ Then Jesus asked the man, “What is your name?”

The man answered, “My name is Legion,^[a] because I have many spirits in me.” ¹⁰ The man begged Jesus again and again not to send the spirits out of that area.
