Matthew 12:12-19
Legacy Standard Bible
12 (A)How much more valuable then is a man than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do [a]good on the Sabbath.” 13 Then He *said to the man, “Stretch out your hand!” (B)He stretched it out, and it was restored to [b]normal, like the other. 14 But going out, the Pharisees (C)took counsel together against Him, as to how they might destroy Him.
15 But Jesus, [c]aware of this, withdrew from there. Many followed Him, and (D)He healed them all, 16 and (E)warned them not to make Him known, 17 in order that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled, saying,
18 “(F)Behold, My [d]Servant whom I [e]have chosen;
(G)My Beloved in whom My soul [f]is well-pleased;
(H)I will put My Spirit upon Him,
(I)And He shall proclaim [g]justice to the [h]Gentiles.
19 (J)He will not quarrel, nor cry out;
Nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets.
