¹⁰ Don’t take a travelling bag for the road, or an extra shirt, sandals, or staff, for the worker^(A) is worthy of his food.

¹⁸ For the Scripture says: Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,^[a](A) and, ‘The worker is worthy of his wages.’^(B)

¹³ They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. They consider it a pleasure to carouse in broad daylight. They are spots and blemishes, delighting in their deceptions^[a] while they feast with you.
