² Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat down, while the whole crowd stood on the shore.^(A)

⁹ Then he told his disciples to have a small boat^(A) ready for him, so that the crowd wouldn’t crush him. ¹⁰ Since he had healed^(B) many, all who had diseases were pressing towards him to touch^(C) him.
