⁵ Although Herod wanted to kill John, he feared the crowd since they regarded John as a prophet.^(A)

⁴⁶ Although they were looking for a way to arrest him, they feared the crowds, because the people regarded him as a prophet.^(A)

³² But if we say, “Of human origin” ’ – they were afraid of the crowd, because everyone thought that John was truly a prophet.^(A)
