His Death and Resurrection Predicted

²¹ From^(A) then on Jesus began to point out to his disciples that it was necessary for him to go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, be killed, and be raised the third day.^(B)

⁶⁶ What is your decision? ’

They answered, ‘He deserves death! ’^(A)

⁷ ‘We have a law,’ the Jews replied to him, ‘and according to that law he ought to die,^(A) because he made himself the Son of God.’^(B)
