⁴⁵ Then he came to the disciples and said to them, ‘Are you still sleeping and resting? See, the time is near. The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.^(A)

⁷ saying, “It is necessary that the Son of Man be betrayed^(A) into the hands of sinful men, be crucified, and rise^(B) on the third day”? ’

²⁴ So a second time they summoned the man who had been blind and told him, ‘Give glory^(A) to God.^(B) We know that this man is a sinner.’

¹⁹ For just as through one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners,^(A) so also through the one man’s obedience^(B) the many will be made righteous.
