²⁴ ‘Therefore,^(A) everyone who hears these words^(B) of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

Persecutions Predicted

¹⁶ ‘Look, I’m sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.^(A)

² Five of them were foolish and five were wise.^(A)

²¹ ‘His master said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant! You were faithful over a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Share your master’s joy.”^(A)
