¹⁰ While he was reclining at the table in the house, many tax collectors and sinners came to eat with Jesus and his disciples.^(A)

¹⁰ When they were in the house again, the disciples questioned him about this matter.

Lord of the Sabbath

6 On a Sabbath, he passed through the cornfields.^(A) His disciples were picking ears of corn, rubbing them in their hands, and eating them.

³ Jesus went up a mountain and sat down there with his disciples.

¹⁶ His disciples did not understand these things at first. However, when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things had been written about him^(A) and that they had done these things to him.
