¹² I will indeed gather^(A) all of you, Jacob;
I will collect the remnant of Israel.^(B)
I will bring them together like sheep in a pen,
like a flock in the middle of its pasture.
It will be noisy with people.^(C)

⁷ I will make the lame into a remnant,^(A)
those far removed into a strong nation.
Then the Lord will reign over them^(B) in Mount Zion
from this time on and for ever.

⁷ Then the remnant of Jacob^(A)
will be among many peoples
like dew from the Lord,^(B)
like showers on the grass,^(C)
which do not wait for anyone
or linger for mankind.
⁸ Then the remnant of Jacob
will be among the nations, among many peoples,
like a lion among animals of the forest,^(D)
like a young lion among flocks of sheep,
which tramples^(E) and tears^(F) as it passes through,
and there is no one to rescue them.^(G)
