¹³ Hanun and the inhabitants of Zanoah fortified the Valley Gate. They built it and hung its doors, with its locks and bars, a thousand cubits on the wall to the dung port.

¹⁴ But, Malchijah the son of Rechab, the ruler of one fourth of Beth Haccarem fortified the dung port. He built it and hung its doors, with its locks and bars.
