Numbers 10:8-10

⁸ “And the sons of Aaron the Priest shall blow the trumpets. And you shall have them as a Law forever in your generations.

⁹ “And when you go to war in your land, against the enemy that troubles you, you shall blow an alarm with the trumpets, and you shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and shall be saved from your enemies

¹⁰ “(also, on the day of your gladness and on your Feast days, and on the beginning of your months). You shall also blow the trumpets over your Burnt Sacrifices and over your Peace Offerings, so that they may be a remembrance for you before your God. I am the LORD your God.”
