To understand the sayings of ^(B)understanding,
³ To ^(C)receive discipline ^[a]that leads to insight,
^(D)Righteousness, justice, and equity,
⁴ To give ^(E)prudence to the ^[b](F)simple,
To the youth ^(G)knowledge and discretion;
⁵ Let the wise man hear and ^(H)increase in learning,
And a ^(I)man of understanding will acquire guidance,
