3 În gura nebunului este o nuia pentru mândria lui,
dar(A) pe înţelepţi îi păzesc buzele lor.
4 Unde nu sunt boi, ieslea rămâne goală,
dar puterea boilor aduce belşug de roade.
5 Un martor(B) credincios nu minte,
dar un martor mincinos spune minciuni.
