²⁰ Listen to counsel and receive instruction
so that you may be wise later in life.^[a](A)

²¹ Many plans are in a person’s heart,
but the Lord’s decree will prevail.^(B)

²² What is desirable in a person is his fidelity;
better to be a poor person than a liar.^(C)
