Proverbs 19:7-9

⁷ All the brothers of the poor hate him. How much more will his friends depart far from him? Though he pursues with words, still they are not.

⁸ He who possesses understanding, loves his own soul; and keeps wisdom to find goodness.

⁹ A false witness shall not go unpunished. And he who speaks lies shall perish.
