Proverbs 20:3-5

³ Honour belongs to the person who ends a dispute,^(A)
but any fool can get himself into a quarrel.^(B)

⁴ The slacker does not plough during planting season;^[a]
at harvest time he looks,^[b] and there is nothing.^(C)

⁵ Counsel in a person’s heart is deep water;^(D)
but a person of understanding draws it out.
