Proverbs 29:15-17

¹⁵ The rod and correction give wisdom. But a child left to himself makes his mother ashamed.

¹⁶ When the wicked are increased, transgression increases. But the righteous shall see their fall.

¹⁷ Correct your son and he will give you rest; and will give pleasures to your soul.
