2 For behold, Your enemies (A)make an uproar,
And (B)those who hate You have [a](C)exalted themselves.
3 They (D)make shrewd plans against Your people,
And [b]conspire together against (E)Your [c]treasured ones.
4 They have said, “Come, and (F)let us wipe them out [d]as a nation,
That the (G)name of Israel be remembered no more.”
5 For they have [e](H)conspired together with one mind;
Against You they make a covenant:
6 The tents of (I)Edom and the (J)Ishmaelites,
(K)Moab and the (L)Hagrites;
7 (M)Gebal and (N)Ammon and (O)Amalek,
(P)Philistia with the inhabitants of (Q)Tyre;
8 (R)Assyria also has joined with them;
They have become [f]a help to the (S)children of Lot. [g]Selah.
