Psalm 78:29-33

²⁹ So they ^(A)ate and were well filled,
And He ^[a]satisfied their longing.
^30 [b]Yet before they had abandoned their longing,
^(B)While their food was in their mouths,
³¹ The ^(C)anger of God rose against them
And killed ^[c]some of their ^(D)strongest ones,
And ^[d]subdued the choice men of Israel.
³² In spite of all this they ^(E)still sinned
And ^(F)did not believe in His wonderful works.
³³ So He brought ^(G)their days to an end in futility,
And their years to an end in sudden terror.
