2 but his (A)delight is in the law[a] of the Lord,
    and on his (B)law he meditates day and night.

3 He is like (C)a tree
    planted by (D)streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
    and its (E)leaf does not wither.
(F)In all that he does, he prospers.
4 The wicked are not so,
    but are like (G)chaff that the wind drives away.
