¹⁴ ‘Even if I testify about myself,’ Jesus replied, ‘my testimony is true, because I know where I came from and where I’m going. But you don’t know where I come from or where I’m going.^(A)

⁶ Jesus told him, ‘I am^(A) the way,^(B) the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

¹⁰ As the truth of Christ is in me, this boasting of mine will not be stopped^[a] in the regions of Achaia.^(A)

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God has come^(A) and has given us understanding so that we may know the true one.^[a] We are in the true one – that is, in his Son, Jesus Christ.^(B) He is the true God and eternal life.

³ For I was very glad when fellow believers came and testified^(A) to your fidelity to the truth – how you are walking in truth.^(B)
