⁵ Guide me in your truth and teach me,^(A)
for you are the God of my salvation;^(B)
I wait for you all day long.^(C)
6 Remember, Lord, your compassion
and your faithful love,
for they have existed from antiquity.^[a](D)
7 Do not remember the sins of my youth^(E)
or my acts of rebellion;^(F)
in keeping with your faithful love, remember me
because of your goodness, Lord.^(G)
