³ Perhaps they will listen and turn – each from his evil way of life – so that I might relent^(A) concerning the disaster that I plan to do to them because of the evil of their deeds.

³ Perhaps when the house of Judah hears about all the disaster I am planning to bring on them, each one of them will turn from his evil way. Then I will forgive their iniquity^(A) and their sin.’
