Psalm 44:17-19

¹⁷ All this has come upon us. Still, we do not forget You. Nor do we deal falsely concerning Your Covenant.

¹⁸ Our heart is not turned back, nor have our steps gone out of Your paths;

¹⁹ even though You have struck us down into the place of dragons and covered us with the shadow of death.
