¹⁹ They will ^(A)fling their silver into the streets, and their gold will become an abhorrent thing; their ^(B)silver and their gold will not be able to save them on the day of the wrath of the Lord. They cannot satisfy their ^[a]appetite, nor can they fill their stomachs, because their wrongdoing has become a cause of stumbling.

¹⁹ And I will say to ^[a]myself, “^(A)You have many goods stored up for many years to come; relax, eat, drink, and enjoy yourself!”’

²⁰ But God said to him, ‘^(A)You fool! This very night ^[a](B)your soul is demanded of you; and ^(C)as for all that you have prepared, who will own it now?’
