⁷Let the assembly of peoples gather around you;^(A)
take your seat on high over it.^(B)
⁸The Lord judges the peoples;^(C)
vindicate me, Lord,
according to my righteousness and my integrity.^(D)

⁹Let the evil of the wicked come to an end,^(E)
but establish the righteous.^(F)
The one who examines the thoughts and emotions^[a]
is a righteous God.^(G)
