⁹ Let the evil of the wicked come to an end,^(A)
but establish the righteous.^(B)
The one who examines the thoughts and emotions^[a]
is a righteous God.^(C)
10 My shield is with God,^(D)
who saves the upright in heart.^(E)
11 God is a righteous judge
and a God who shows his wrath every day.^(F)
