2 Cercetează-mă(A), Doamne, încearcă-mă,
trece-mi prin cuptorul de foc rărunchii şi inima!
3 Căci bunătatea Ta este înaintea ochilor mei
şi umblu(B) în adevărul Tău.
4 Nu şed împreună cu(C) oamenii mincinoşi
şi nu merg împreună cu oamenii vicleni.
