⁸ Their dead bodies^[a](A) will lie in the main street^[b] of the great city,^(B) which figuratively^[c] is called Sodom^(C) and Egypt,^(D) where also their Lord was crucified.

⁹ And some of^[a] the peoples, tribes, languages, and nations^(A) will view their bodies for three and a half days and not permit their bodies to be put into a tomb.^(B)
