Ang Salita ng Diyos
Ang Sulat Para sa Iglesiya sa Laodicea
14 Isulat mo sa anghel ng iglesiya sa Laodicea:
Ako, na tinatawag na Siya nawa, ang tapat at totoong saksi, ang pasimula ng mga nilalang ng Diyos, ang nagsasabi ng mga bagay na ito:
15 Nalalaman ko ang iyong mga gawa na ikaw ay hindi malamig o mainit. Ang nais ko ay maging malamig ka o mainit. 16 Kaya nga, sapagkat ikaw ay maligamgam, hindi malamig o mainit, isusuka na kita mula sa aking bibig. 17 Sinasabi mo: Ako ay mayaman. Ako ay naging mayaman at hindi nangangailangan ng anuman. Hindi mo alam na ikaw ay sawimpalad, nararapat kahabagan, maralita, bulag at hubad. 18 Dahil dito, pinapayuhan kita na bumili ng ginto mula sa akin na dinalisay ng mga tao sa apoy upang yumaman ka. Bumili ka ng maputing damit upang ikaw ay mabihisan. Sa ganitong paraan ay hindi makikita ng mga tao ang kahihiyan ng iyong kahubaran. Pahiran mo ang iyong mga mata ng gamot para sa mata upang makakita ka.
19 Sinasaway ko at sinusupil ko ang aking mga minamahal. Kaya nga, magsumigasig ka at magsisi. 20 Narito, ako ay nakatayo sa pintuan at patuloy na kumakatok. Kapag marinig ng sinuman ang aking tinig at magbukas ng pinto, ako ay papasok sa kaniya. Ako ay maghahapunang kasama niya at siya ay kakaing kasama ko.
21 Ang magtatagumpay ay bibigyan ko ng karapatang maupong kasama ko sa aking trono, katulad din ng aking pagtatagumpay. At ako ay umupong kasama ng aking Ama sa kaniyang trono. 22 Ang may pandinig ay makinig sa sinasabi ng Espiritu sa mga iglesiya.

To the Church in Laodicea
14 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea(A) write:
These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness,(B) the ruler of God’s creation.(C) 15 I know your deeds,(D) that you are neither cold nor hot.(E) I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’(F) But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.(G) 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire,(H) so you can become rich; and white clothes(I) to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness;(J) and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline.(K) So be earnest and repent.(L) 20 Here I am! I stand at the door(M) and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,(N) I will come in(O) and eat with that person, and they with me.
21 To the one who is victorious,(P) I will give the right to sit with me on my throne,(Q) just as I was victorious(R) and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 Whoever has ears, let them hear(S) what the Spirit says to the churches.”

14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
