⁶ Blessed^(A) and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! The second death^(B) has no power^[a] over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.^(C)

¹⁴ Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire.^(A) This is the second death, the lake of fire.

⁸ But the cowards, faithless,^[a] detestable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars^(A) – their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur,^(B) which is the second death.’^(C)
