¹⁵ I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were cold or hot. ¹⁶ So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going to vomit^[a] you out of my mouth. ¹⁷ For you say, ‘I’m rich; I have become wealthy and need nothing,’^(A) and you don’t realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked.
