Romans 7:19

¹⁹For the good which I desire, I don’t do; but the evil which I don’t desire, that I practice.

Romans 7:19

New International Version

¹⁹For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing.^(A)

²¹I find then the law that, while I desire to do good, evil is present.

²¹So I find this law at work:^(A) Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me.
