¹⁰ always asking in my prayers that if it is somehow in God’s will, I may now at last succeed in coming to you.^(A)

¹⁹ But I will come to you soon,^(A) if the Lord wills, and I will find out not the talk, but the power of those who are arrogant.

⁷ I don’t want to see you now just in passing, since I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord allows.^(A)

³ And we will do this if God permits.

¹⁵ Instead, you should say, ‘If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.’

¹⁷ For it is better to suffer^(A) for doing good, if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil.
