⁶ He will repay each one according to his works:^[a](A)

¹⁵ So it is no great surprise if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will be according to their works.^(A)

¹⁴ Alexander^(A) the coppersmith did great harm to me. The Lord will repay him according to his works.

¹² I also saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened.^(A) Another book was opened, which is the book of life,^(B) and the dead were judged according to their works^(C) by what was written in the books. ¹³ Then the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades^(D) gave up the dead that were in them; each one was judged according to their works.
