Romans 8:7-9

⁷ The mindset of the flesh is hostile^(A) to God because it does not submit to God’s law. Indeed, it is unable to do so. ⁸ Those who are in the flesh^(B) cannot please God. ⁹ You, however, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you.^(C) If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ,^(D) he does not belong to him.
