⁹ You, however, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you.^(A) If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ,^(B) he does not belong to him.

²³ Not only that,^(A) but we ourselves who have the Spirit as the firstfruits^(B) – we also groan within ourselves,^(C) eagerly waiting for adoption,^(D) the redemption of our bodies.^(E)

⁴⁰ But she is happier if she remains as she is, in my opinion. And I think that I also have the Spirit of God.

¹³ And since we have the same spirit of faith in keeping with what is written, I believed, therefore I spoke,^[a](A) we also believe, and therefore speak.

¹⁹ These people create divisions and are worldly,^(A) not having the Spirit.
